Guilherme Gabriel, MSc
Lab Manager

Guilherme Gabriel is a Senior Laboratory Technician in Dr. Dario F De Jesus’s lab. He supports day-to-day research operations by helping coordinate and support research efforts, maintaining organized lab systems, and promoting safety and documentation practices. He earned his Biology degree from Mackenzie Presbyterian University (São Paulo, Brazil) and completed a Master’s through a sandwich program between UNIFESP and the University of Chicago. Gabriel is committed to building practical, reproducible workflows and a friendly lab environment.
Lenee Shrestha, PhD
 Postdoctoral Scholar

Lenee Shrestha is a postdoctoral scholar investigating the role of m6A RNA modification in cellular senescence and aging. Her current research focuses on how late-life intermittent fasting reshapes the m6A epitranscriptome across different metabolic tissues. She earned her PhD from the University of Arizona, where she specialized in redox signaling, cardiac aging, and mitochondrial biology. She is interested in developing  therapeutic strategies that promote metabolic flexibility and healthy aging.
Shen Wang, PhD
 Postdoctoral Scholar

Shen Wang is a postdoctoral scholar investigating the pancreatic m6A epitranscriptomic landscape at single-cell resolution in diabetes and aging. He earned his PhD from China Pharmaceutical University, where he specialized in m6A RNA modification in stem cell biology. His current research aims to elucidate disease-associated m6A regulatory mechanisms that drive pancreatic dysfunction and metabolic disorders, with the long-term goal of identifying novel therapeutic targets for diabetes and age-related diseases.
